Bringing together a selection of oil paintings created between 2024 and 2026, Yang Chuting Painting Exhibition explores the relationship between memory, identity and the experience of living away from home.
Drawing inspiration from flowers associated with her childhood in Taiwan, Yang transforms familiar botanical forms into vivid, intimate compositions. Through saturated colors, amplified petals and delicate attention to texture, her paintings move beyond botanical representation to explore how memories evolve across time and distance.
Each bloom becomes a quiet reflection on nostalgia, belonging and the philosophy of everyday life, inviting viewers to consider how our understanding of home is reshaped through personal experience.
