Graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Luxun Academy of Fine Arts in 1986. His works are known for their refined color expression and exploration of the tension between emotion and space. In 2018, he was appointed Executive Director of the Committee for Cultural Heritage and Development of the China Children’s Cultural and Art Promotion Association, where he continues to promote art education and cultural exchange. Song has also served as a jury member and advisor for various national art exhibitions, contributing to the advancement of contemporary Chinese art.
